The Ginny Rae Bear Family has been making bears since 1987. We now are a three-generation family of teddy bear makers. They are made from mohair or vintage fur. However, we are most known for our vintage fur bears.

Vintage fur bears all have an adhesive lining to the backside of the pelt to insure its strength and durability. All bears our fully jointed, including the heads. Their eyes are made of glass, imported from Germany. Some eyes are hand-painted. Bears our then stuffed with top quality polyester fill, and some have plastic pellets in tummies to give a squishy feel.

All bears come with identification cards, showing their name, height, type and date of fur, birth-date (date of completion). Artist then signs them. All bears are one of one, unless otherwise stated.

We also do custom orders, where you get to design your own bear. We use your fur and you tell us what style and size bear you would like. You also get to choose color of eyes, and type of fills (polyester or pellets)
